Did you know, according to Food Research and Action Center’s “2010-Food Hardship in America” report, Arizona is ranked 15th in the top twenty states with the highest food hardship rates? Food hardship is defined as answering “Yes” to the question posed by the Gallup organization to hundreds of thousands of people: “Have there been times in the past twelve months when you did not have enough money to buy food that you or your family needed?”.
To take part in improving conditions of our community in Arizona, T3AZ-circle will be joining with local organizations every month to deliver food to the homeless and hungry in the city of Tempe. The “Feed the Hungry” volunteering project is held on the first Saturday of every month in Moeur Park. Please note that Feed the Hungry is a kids-friendly project, which can be a rewarding experience for your whole family. You can support this project by choosing from several volunteering and donation options.
