Scholarships project aims to reach out underprivileged Turkish children by providing them a chance to continue their education and fulfill their potential in the future. With small amounts of investments on especially academically gifted but impoverished students whose parents never had an opportunity to receive higher education, gifted children can be given a chance to fulfill their potential, and become a ray of hope to their families and other children in their community. Please take a look at this video, where Aysegul Destan, who was once a little girl in Bayburt and now a Stanford University PhD graduate, talks about her personal life story. She sets a great example of how her educated brother changed her life, and how she changed the horizon for other girls in her village.

Our scholarships project started towards the end of 2010 when TAA-AZ announced that it would provide scholarships for one primary, one high-school and one college student. We aim to make our scholarships project a sustainable effort while reaching out more students every year with the help of your generous donations. On this journey, we are looking forward to building a network of volunteers to build sustainable funds and lead our projects.
